Hello. Is the following sentence correct?
I think in the following "down side and up side" do not mean advantage or disadvantage at all.

1. I usually fish at the down side of the river but my brother fish at the up side of the river.

I really don't know for sure what "down side" means in the lung case, but I wonder if this explanation is exactly correct.

GPYPerhaps they meant the lower part of the lung in the lying-down orientation. This is just a guess.
That's a good guess. I like it better than my interpretation actually.

Ok, thank you. Then probably it is wrong to use "down side" in these two passage. Probably they were not native English speakers. As a non-native English speaker I guessed They might be wrong either. That is why I asked you about them.

Then I rewrite the sentences as below.
