Doubt in sentence

Dear all,

Kindly see, the following sentences inside double quotation is the note of India's first woman IAS officer Kiaran Bedi regarding her friendship with former Prime Minister of India Mrs.Indira Gandhi.

"It was a rare privilege being with Mrs.Indira Gandhi. I was very fond of her. She too was very proud of my having joined the IPS. She used invite me to her functions and introduce me as India's first woman in the officer ranks of IPS".

My doubt is about the sentence "She too was very proud of my having joined the IPS", is this sentence correct?

Thanking you.
