Doubt about Passive Voice

I was asked to "Turn sentences into passive voice using personal object". Can anybody give me an example? Please also tell me to how to change "Why don't you give him a proper advice?" Thank You.

We don't say " an advice". Advice is an uncountable noun. Good advice, bad advice, etc.

  • There is absolutely no need to turn many active sentences into passive -- sentences that do pretty well in active voice.
  • If you force them to turn into passive, you may have correct grammar but horribly-structured sentences.

I don't even know what that means, but it may be a reference to an indirect object, thus:

Lucy gave me the card.
I was given the card by Lucy.
(Rather than The card was given to me by Lucy.)
