Doubt about intransitive verb + prepositional phrase takes passive voice or not

Hello,

I was taught that intransitive verbs can't take passive forms, but one of the English grammar book has given an example about passive voice of intransitive verb + prepositional phrase. following are the examples:

1) Active Voice: People are listening to music
Passive Voice: Music is being listen to.

2) Active Voice: Mark is talking about the passive voice.
Passive Voice: The passive voice is being talked about.

Can you please clear my doubt about intransitive verb + prepositional phrase takes passive voice or not?

Thanks

  • ashay2018 1) Active Voice: People are listening to music Passive Voice: Music is being listen ed to.
  • 2) Active Voice: Mark is talking about the passive voice.
  • Passive Voice: The passive voice is being talked about.
  • "listen" and "talk" are intransitive (for the purposes of this question, at least), but "listen to" and "talk about" are transitive.
  • The passive sentences feel slightly awkward.
