After regaling the crowds with their amazing feats, the fireworks came to an end and the sky became grey again. People started leaving the malls and we came out of our trance hearing honks.



“Enjoyed the fireworks,” Lessing asked us. Smiling benignly at us she was standing before us and holding our car keys in her hands. She hadn’t watched the fireworks, spending her time in tracing out our keys.
