Do/play kicking/bowling

1. Do you want to do kicking and punching?
2. Do you want to play bowling?

Are these two correct with the gerunds? If not, how would usually ask involving these activities?

AStars -- I'm sure you don't want to give the impression that "play" is only used for computer games. What about golf, croquet, tennis, etc.? I suppose you meant that you could only say "play kicking" or "play bowling" if you were talking about computer games called "Kicking" or

It just sounds better to me if you say 'some'. It won't be the end of the world if you say "do punching", but it seems odd.
