Don't you have this drink?

Here in Iran we have a drink which is made up of yogurt, water, salt and dried mint. We call this drink "Dough". But I couldn't find its English word in dictionary. Don't you have such drink?

I'll add that while lassi might be widespread in the UK because of Indian/Pakistani influence (though it may not be - I don't know), it's not at all widespread in the US. Most non-Indians will not know what you're talking about when you talk about lassi.

I wouldn't say it's widespread. I vaguely remembered the word, but had to check before I posted my response. I probably know it only because my daughter visited India a few years ago.

Thanks a lot. But it's not Lassi. As it is written Lassi is also with fruit and cream. But Dugh has no cream and fruit.

I searched more and I found out that Lassi is the Indian form of Dugh. As it is written we have Lassi in Iran too. But I had never heard about it till now.
