Don't Vs Can't

As I know sense verbs like see, hear, understand etc express the ability and the modal verb 'can' express the ability also. Now I am giving a context below

Say, I am watching a tv program with my friends. Suddendly, one of them comes and sits in front of me, blocking the view of the program. So what am I supposed to say?

1. Get out of my way. I don't see the program.

2. Get out of my way I can't see the program.

Then he moves a little bit and asks me

3. Now do you see the program?

4. Now can you see the program?

And I say to him.

5. Yes I see the program now.

6. Yes I can see the program now.

I am confused. Please help me.

This is a bit rude. Try this instead:

Can you move over a little? I can't see the screen.

After he moves, he'll ask:

Can you see it now?

Then you say:

Yeah. Thanks. OR Yes, I can. Thank you.
