don't know how she can be

Is this clause natural : I don't know how she could be Spanish.
Is it something a native speaker could say?

She claims to be Spanish, but sincerely I don't know how she could be Spanish, she speaks Spanish with an accent and doesn't speak it very well. She must be lying.

Thanks

It sounds fairly natural, except I wouldn't say sincerely. Also, I wouldn't say "Spanish" so many times Maybe like this: She claims to be Spanish, but ( honestly ) I don't know how that could be when she speaks Spanish with an accent and not very well. She must be lying.
