(Don't) Get your knickers in a twist/knot.

0I know there are some variations of that idiom, such as 01i01b01font00Don't get your panties in a bunch/wad02font02b02i00, right? I know their meaning, and in the firts case (knickers in a twist/knot) I can see the picture of a young girl being upset, crying while twisting her panties because she's not being given what she wants, 01u01b00but02b02u00 what I cannot seem to picture is the ones in 01b01font00green02font02b00. The words 01u00bunch02u00 and 01u00wad02u00 sort of hinder me from visualizing the situation.02br

0Hi,02br 02br 00I don;t think you've quite grasped the meaning or the image here. The idea is that if your underwear has a twist in it, it will be uncomfortable and irritatting for you. 02br 02br 00Best wishes, Clive010id5
