Don't forget a/your scarf! It is cold outside.

Good morning.

Please have a look at the sentences below:

1) Don't forget a scarf! It is cold outside.
2) Don't forget your scarf! It is cold outside.

Is there any difference between them?

I would hazard a guess that not so much. Admittedly, an indefinite article is very different than a pronoun, but I think that in this case 'a scarf' means 'one of your scarves' or 'a scarf within reach', so it is very similar to 'your scarf'.
