Don't Be Coy

When somebody says, 'Don't be coy', are they saying, basically, 'Stop playing stupid; you know exactly what I'm talking about"?

Essentially, the same thing: stop pretending to be ignorant when you really know something but feign ignorance upon being asked.

No.... 'being ignorant' means being unaware of the facts. 'Being coy' means that somebody is pretending to be shy or bashful or is maybe trying to avoid answering a question, but not through feigning ignorance.
