Doing revising

Can I say,

(a) Peter was doing revising in his room.

(b) Peter was revising his lesson in his room.

(c) Peter was revising now.

(a) and (b) work for me. (c) has a tense problem. "Now" refers to the present time, and "was" refers to the past.
