Doing my best?

Hi, I have one question about the sentence below

"Doing my best, I will be a good English speaker"

Some Korean people say that the sentence is same as " Because(since/as) I do my best, I will be a good English speaker" and their explantion about that is "javascript:endicAutoLink('a'); javascript:endicAutoLink('participial construction');"

Please, explain the grammar about " doing my best"

Anonymous lease, explain the grammar about " doing my best" It is wrong in your example sentence. It should read: If I do my best, I will be a good English speaker . Since the participle 'doing' has no intrinsic time element, it sounds quite awkward at the beginning of your sentence.
