You are cutting out something. Can the following sentence be also correct to say?

I am doing cutting out.

If this is ok, then what does "I am doing cutouts"?

I am doing push-ups.
I am doing jumping jacks.
I am doing the shopping.
The doctor is doing his rounds.

Those are meaningful. But I have never heard this: I am doing cutouts.
