Doing Chinese

Hi,

Sister: Do you wanna get a pizza tonight? I don't feel like cooking.
Brother: I don't mind ordering out but I feel more like Chinese.
Sister: I'd rather go out if we're doing Chinese.

Does "doing Chinese" mean "eating Chinese"?

Is that a common usage of "doing"?

Maybe, you could say "doing Chinese" instead of saying "learning Chinese"?

Thanks,

Ryo
