Dog sled

Hello,

I'm reading a text about dog-sledding and I'm wondering what's the right way of communicating an idea of travelling in this way.
Is it correct to say: "travel in a dog sled" or "travel by a dog sled". If not, how should I put it?

Travel by a dog sled - is OK. Also mushing is to a dog sled as driving is to a car. Dog sleds are not usually passenger vehicles.

I'd put "travel by dogsled". "In a dogsled" would be if you were riding in it like a princess.

You mush the dogs, not the sled. You can also just mush.

Jack will be mushing his own team in this year's Iditarod.

Norman once mushed from Fairbanks to Healy in three days.
