doesn't 'flew' imply 'fast?

Could you correct this for me? I read this on the internet and it intrigued me. How would a native speaker say this please?

I really don't how time flew by so fast. It was 10pm when I looked at my watch and now it's 1am. I feels like I looked at my watch 10 minutes ago.

THank you

Yes, "flew" implies "fast", but there's fast and then there's so fast. Time has been flying since at least ancient Rome. Tempus fugit, they said, time flies, and it flies faster the older you get.

I really don't how the time flew by so fast. It was 10 pm when I looked at my watch, and now it's 1 am. It feels like I looked at my watch only ten minutes ago.
