Does vs. will vs. would

1. Is it more appropriate to use 'does' instead of 'will' in sentence A?

2. Can we also use 'does' instead of 'will' in sentence B for future unreal clause?

A. If you choose A, (does, will)_____ it mean B is incorrect in all cases?

B. If you chose A, (does, would)_____ it mean B is incorrect in all cases?

I would really appreciate your input.

HI, In sentence one it's no matter which one you choose, I would rather use does. Same in sentence B

It really depends on what you want to say.

1. If you choose A, will it mean B is incorrect in all cases. (the condition is either in the present or future, the result is always in the future/indicative/conditional I).

2. If you choose A, does it mean B is incorrect in all cases. (both condition and result are in the present-indicative).

3. If

Ivan and Alex,

Thank you for your explanations. I see all (does, will & would) are possible depending on the time aspect of the condition and result clauses, and mood of the sentence.

Cheers,
Eli
