Does this word sound right (meaning wise?)

A landline phone only offers free local calling, but for a nominal charge per feature, you can include long distance (charged by the minute and can be expensive), call waiting, caller ID (you will need a caller ID box or a caller ID equipped phone), and call forwarding.
