Does This Word Have Plural ?

I have read this title in a book " Increase your Vocabulary "

Would it be alright if the writer has written " Increase your Vocabularies "

I mean : Vocabulary has plural or not ?

Thanks in advance

Both countable and uncountable. I would use the singular here. A person normally has only one vocabulary.

Hi,

Yet as teachers, we often say that a person has a speaking vocabulary and a reading vocabulary. Other tenrs include an active vocabulary and a passive vocabulary.

Furthermore, we often say things like I have three students who have very poor vocabularies.

Best wishes, Clive
