Does this sound natural in English?

I first learned about the Pomodoro technique from Barbara Oakley's book "Learning How to Learn," which is primarily aimed at young people but is also useful for adults. I highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to learn something new.

Or would it be better to say?

I highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to learn anything.

I highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to learn anything. No. It implies that the reader might be the sort of ignorant numbskull who doesn't want to learn anything.
