Does this sound natural for the question how do you motivate someone?

This is the text:

First of all, I try to figure out what motivates that person. If the person likes to make others feel good, I will say something like: "Can you imagine how great everyone is going to feel when you get this work done?" or if the person likes to be promoted, I will say "Think of how good this is going to reflect on you in your performance review."
