Does this sentence sound right? (Increase / lack of)

Hello all,

as always, I would be very grateful for your help Emotion: smile Does the following sentence sound okay to you:

"My irritableness increases proportionally with lack of sleep."

I'm unsure whether it's "increases proportionally with" or "increases proportionally to", and also whether it should be "with a lack of sleep".

Thanks in advance,

" I'm unsure whether it's "increases proportionally with " or "increases proportionally to ", 'To' sounds better to me. A quick Google search suggests 'to' is mor than twice as common. and also whether it should be "with a lack of sleep".
