Does this sentence of mine show parallelism?

Does this sentence of mine show parallelism? Is its meaning not murky?

They cut my tummy, got something out of it, and stitched the wound.

'Abdomen' is quite scientific/medical, and that is the word that the doctor might use.
'Belly' is a word used casually by adult laymen.
