Does this sentence make sense to you?

first of all, sorry if there are any technical issues again; this platform is still kinda buggy for me.
the sentence is 'was she right in her purpose?' the context is that a girl ('s purpose) is trying to tell others about environmental issues, but i'm not sure if intentions or another word would be more accurate to use. thanks
