Does this sentence make sense?

'She changed out of her funeral attire. In her underwear, she got into bed, wrapping the covers tightly around herself.'

Does the above make sense/seem ok to you?

Thanks
Ryan

It is a comma-splice error: http://www.uc.utoronto.ca/comma-splices

How would you suggest changing it?
I can't see any obvious way of altering it.

Sorry, I was mistaken; it is not a comma-splice error. (I mistook your period for a comma.) There are too many commas, and it is slightly distracting:

She changed out of her funeral attire. She got into bed in her underwear, wrapping the covers tightly around herself.
