Does this sentence convey the right meaning?

Hi,
context:

"However, when a nap strategy is used in a workplace, its negative effects should also be taken into consideration together with its positive effects."

I want to put emphasis on the negative effects of the nap strategy and say that negative effects should also be taken into consideration beside positive ones. Does the sentenc convey the right meaning?

Thank you!

It's OK, but a bit wordy. Both the negative and positive aspects of a napping policy should be considered before announcing it to the employees.
