Does this phrase make sense?

Hi. This question is about English word' work'.

When you say "hey antie, you are too old to have a new relationship " and the antie says' what are you talking about !! I still work!!"

Dose the word" I still work" make sense? As a meaning of "i am still attractive "?
Or is it a bit akward? If awkward or wrong,
What is the best and commen way to say that?

Please help. Thanks a lot in advance.
