Does this make sense

hi guys the following is the sentence I am unsure about:

"Moreover, it gave me the chance to put my accounting knowledge into practice and develop my insight of how it is like to work in an accounting firm"

I am wondering if the use of "insight" is correct here Would it be better to put "idea" here rather than " insight"?

Thanks
