Does this make sense?

"Attributable to this, I have gained good leadership skills and communication skills".

What I'm trying to say is that by being an student ambassador I have gained good skills. Is there a better way of saying this?

Thanks - I want to say that helped me to gain these skills. I can't say leader I need to mention skills. Sorry, do you know how I can say this?

Doesn't a being a good leader necessarily mean the possession of the skills to lead?
You seem to be fixated on "skills" rather than the end result of having them...

... helping to become a good leader ... means necessarily that you developed and practiced leadership skills along the way.
