Does this make sense?

I want to describe a flow, so does this make sense:

"Our solution's flow, goes as follows: Initially ...."

it is followed by the description of our solution.

I am talking about a flow of a computer program!
So it could be something like a flow of ideas!

I'm not sure what the usual phrasing is among programmers, but "Our solution's flow goes as follows: Initially ...." makes sense to me in that context.
