Does this make sense?

What do you like or dislike most about the area you are from (hometown)?

In my recent trip to India, I ran into the same question with a completely random stranger who was a bus driver. I don't recall how I answered but I do remember his answer "wherever my family is, that's the place I consider my hometown." Now having the time to think about the bus drivers' response I understand that I can go home anytime with the surety that I will be engulfed in serenity and peace by family and friends and that is clearly the most likeable part of my hometown is the fact that my family lives there, hands down.

Does it make sense? Yes, it does.

But you need driver's, not drivers'.

Your last sentence has a little problem. I would split it into two sentences. That way you can end the paragraph with a nice succinct summary.
