Does this make sense?

Hello. I made a dialogue. The word "lie" has two meanings,
so I used "lie" to make this dialogue. Does this make sense?

A: Hey, don't lie.
B: What? I never tell a lie!
A: I mean "Don't lie on my shirt!"
A: Oh, sorry, I didn't notice it.

Thank you!

Thank you. I made a mistake about my dialogue.

A: Hey, don't lie.
B: What? I never tell a lie!
A: I mean "Don't lie on my shirt!"
B: Oh, sorry, I didn't notice it.

If I can get more comments from other members, I would be happy.

I think the sentences are fine.

I tend to agree with Avangi. It is in my view rather unlikely that someone would just say "Hey, don't lie!" at the start of this exchange. They'd be much more likely to say "Hey, don't lie there!". (I'd probably use an exclamation mark.)
