Does the word 'life' have a plural form?

We meet lots of different people in our life/lives.

Can't think of a better example. Most of my English brain cells are sleeping now.

  • There is no need to say "different people"; even if you meet identical twins, you've met two different people.
  • Also, not everyone meets "lots of different people", especially those who live in small villages that hardly ever get visitors from the outside.
