Does the sentence work? How should I improve it?

According to Article VIII of the Measures for Special Talent Awards in Hengqin New Area, the award standard focuses on the evaluation by the market entities, mainly referring to the direct economic contributions made by the individual winner and the companies which he worked for in aspects such as industrial development and independent innovation in the previous year.

The winner with the direct economic contribution exceeding RMB 10,000 yuan (inclusive) in the previous year shall receive a reward of 20% thereof.

Hi. I was proofreading an English translation as above. Does the bold part work? If not, how should I improve it?

By "thereof", the translator meant "of the direct economic contribution" and by "inclusive" " including RMB 10,000 yuan".

Thank you.
