Does the same tense for "get" apply to both [1st game I ever got/have got] and [4th game I ever got/have got]

I have made up the sentences below.

(1a) This is the very first video game I ever got.

(1b) This is the very first video game I've ever got.

(2a) This is the fourth video game I ever got.

(2b) This is the fourth video game I've ever got.

Most of my non-native English speaking friends think "ever got" and "have ever got" only apply to "first", not second, third, and so on.

(A) Are my friends correct?

(B) May I ask one more question? Is there a difference in meaning between "I ever got" and "I've ever got"?
