Does the meaning change when I add definite articles?

"I cannot here provide the mass of the anthropological evidence of the universality, nor that of the psychophysiological evidence supporting the theory presented in my book"

Top answer

The first highlighted "the" should not be there. More context is needed to judge the second highlighted "the". Assuming you have mentioned universality before, " this universality" would be better.
