*** made the universe a Minkowski space, which is a four-dimensional real vector space equipped with a nondegenerate, symmetric bilinear form with signature (-,+,+,+). It has no end in the ordinary sense.

I trust that *** will explain it when the time (so to speak) comes.

Did you die, ask Him, get told that there is no "end", and return to give us ordinary mortals your report?

Yes, the sentence is great!

Actually, it's a pretty compelling first sentence if you wanted to use it as an opening for something longer, for example an essay or short story.

It's not a paragraph. It's a sentence. It's grammatically correct.

It makes sense in a general way—in the way that science fiction about travel to other stars "makes sense".

Since the universe

In this context, "the end" is more likely "the beginning."

A reference to the Alpha and the Omega?

I "got told" when He informed me that the universe is a Minkowski space. These things don't have ends like the ends of strings or the ends of stories. But maybe He's just messing with me.

Whatever did *** do in the ~14 BY before Minkowski?

Improvised?
Vamped?
Marched in place?

I've got to look up "Minkowski" one of these days.
