Does "thank you again" make the sentence redundant?

Employee: I would like to get some information on the comensation package. Which compensation packge would be appropriate for me?

HR: (Explanation for the other packages). I'm not sure about package A, but all of the information is on the HR website.

Employee: Thanks a lot! Alright, I'll also look them up on the HR website.

HR: No problem. The website has all of the information.

Employee: Alright. Thanks again.
