In "She has a car", the verb "have" is inflected to match the subject ("she"), becoming "has". ", it is the auxiliary verb that inflects, becoming "does". The main verb, "have", stays in its base form.

When we include the auxiliary verb "do", as in "She does have a car" and "Does she have a car?", it is the auxiliary verb that inflects, becoming "does". The main verb, "have", stays in its base form. This is just a rule of English.
