"Does" is used either as a general comment, or a story narrated as if it is in the present -

"And then the dragon attacked the woman"
"Does she get a serious injury?"

"Does she get a serious injury whenever she does that?" (a hypothetical discussion)

whereas "has" is referring to a real event now -
"Yesterday she drove into the tree and was injured!"
