Does "remove function for opening the custom-init.txt file" sound natural?

Remove function for opening the "custom-init.txt" file.


Context:

I'm talking about a computer program that has multiple functions, one of them is to open a file named "custom-init.txt" from the hard drive. The sentence above is in imperative (command) form and I would like to keep it that way.
