Does she look pretty? Do you like beef? Is he tall? Are you free? Is this the correct way to do it?

I suggest you should construct a few sentences so that the forum members will be able to tell you whether your sentences are right.

We like to help you. From reading your post however, you need more than our help. These questions are the very fundamental in Eng grammar. If you are still not sure, even if we show you the examples and give you the answers, you may not be able to retain them because it’s more than answers you need.

[Do] is used with [ I] , [you] and [they] in forming a question with verb. i.e. Do you smoke? Do they speak French? When used in a sentence, not question, it is used as an emphasis. i.e.

They do speak French!

[Does] is used on the same question construction, but with 3^rd person singular rule. i.e. [He], [She], or [It]. Does he cook? Does she sing? Does it cost a lot?

[Are], [am] and [is ] are used in conjunction with adjectives or action verbs .

I am not rich, but I am planning to retire.

She / he is late every day.

They are cleaning the classroom.

They are too lazy to practice.

These hints will help you in the easiest cases.

Series 1.
Is he / she / it ...?
Am I ...?
Are you / we / they ...?
 ____________

Series 2.
Does he / she / it ... ?
Do I / you / we / they ...?
 ____________

Use Series 1 when the next word is a verb with -ing or when it is any other part of speech.

Is he leaving soon?  Is she waiting in the lobby?  Am I hearing you correctly?  Are you going to the play? (verbs with -ing)

Is he tall?  Is she ready?  Is it clean?  Is the table clean?  Are you sad?  (adjectives)
Is he a pilot?  Are you a carpenter?  Are they citizens of France?  (nouns)
Is it in the bedroom?  Are we on track?  Are they against the plan?  (prepositional phrases)

Use Series 2 only when the next word is a verb (just the base form, not with -ing).

Does he want another cup of coffee?
Does she have a sister?
Does it work properly?
Does the car work well?
Does the teacher assign a lot of homework?
Do I have any messages?
Do you need anything else?
Do you remember what I said?
Do we know who to call?
Do they understand the question?
Do the children play here often?

What the exact difference between these two?
Is she coming? and Does she come ?
Can I use both of them in any circumstance or is there a slight difference ?
