Does one get shot/stabbed/punched/hit/pinched in some body part?

Does one get shot/stabbed/punched/hit/pinched in the neck or some other body part? Is it grammatically correct?

Hi

Usually, "in" will be right, but sometimes "on" is used ...

- He was shot in the neck
- He was punched in the eye

- He was punched on the nose
- He was hit on the head

It's difficult to think of a rule for this - but sometimes the natural preposition is different

Shot and stabbed are normally in.
Punched and hit can usually be either in or on, but one or the other may be preferred.
Pinched is normally on. (I didn't pay enough attention to the question the first time, sorry.).
