Vocabulary

Does "now" sound like an imperative in this context?

A: Can I have the shirt in a separate bag please?

B: Would you like the jacket and backpack in one bag?

A: Yes, please.

She rings me up for the jacket and the backpack and then and I give the shirt to her saying:

B: This one (shirt) now.

Does "now" sound rude here? My tone didn't sound rude, and I was always saying "please" before. Maybe, I could said "this one now please".

Thanks!

This one now' mainly sounds a bit odd and unnecessary. She already knows you want to buy the shirt, so why do you feel the need to say anything? Clive
