Does not including last part make sentence different?
Does not including the last bit make the meaning of the sentence different:
- She wouldn't have been as mad if I had rung the doorbell (as if I had just walked in.) - If she saw that I was sleeping she wouldn't be as mad (as if I was playing.)
- I wouldn't have been as mad if I had lost in 2 hours as if I had lost in 4 hours. (does this mean that I've lost?)
- I wouldn't have been as mad if I had lost in 2 hours. (this one means I've lost?)
Thank you
