does my sentence need correction?

Dear forum members,

Regarding the below sentence I wrote, I wonder if it reads in a way that the phrase "steady increase in" applies not only to the item (1) that immediately follows but to all the items in the list, (2,3,4) as I intended. If it doesn't read that way, could you tell me what went wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks and have a great day.

Since the gay rights movements have first started in 1993, with the help of the steady increase in (1) the number of relevant organizations and communities, (2) social activities that brought awareness to sexual minorities’ sufferings and problems, (3) coverage in public media, as well as (4) celebrities coming out publicly, the existence of sexual minorities in Korea has been gradually brought to light and become a public issue.
