Does my sentence look natural?

Hi, I am writing an email and want to know whether the following sentence sounds natural to native speakers' ears.

More specifically, I am wondering if the two phrases

1. "as futile as it may turn out to be"
2. "from your experience"

are in the best possible positions in the sentence.

However, I still think it would serve as a good reference, as futile as it may turn out to be, if you could tell me, from your experience, how well students with the IELTS score of 6.0 usually fare on the CLBA test.

Thanks
