Which one is correct? I have a feeling that both, that's why I asked this question:

Johny asks professor about the mind, "Professor, since we live in a physical world, is the mind also physical?"

Professor:

a) "No, Johny, however uncanny this may sound, but the mind is immaterial."

or

b) "No, Johny, however uncanny this may sound, but the mind is metap

Hi,

A suggests 'without physical substance'. It sounds like simply 'you can't touch it'..

B suggests that the mind is a very philosophical concept, ie related to metaphysics.

( Delete 'but'. )
